Passionate team leader and product designer with a knack for assimilating the expertise required (and managing the personalities therein) to extract an idea or concept from gray matter and mold it into a cohesive, manufacturable product with that “Wow!” factor. This includes directly designing or managing the industrial design of new products; identifying, testing & integrating mechanical engineering requirements; electrical engineering including schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping & testing; regulatory approval; product life-cycle management; and all aspects of high and low volume manufacturing.
Mr. Finlayson holds a BA in Political Science along with seventeen years of experience in online marketing ,database development, web design, and programming in various computer languages.. He has been actively involved with marketing documents, sound wavelet research, and advanced machine learning statistics.
Dr. Day is a specialist in the area of Atomic and Molecular Physics, in which he received advanced training (Post-Doctoral Research) at the University of Georgia. He is currently a tenured professor at East Carolina University in the Department of Physics and has taught at multiple universities including the University of Utah (Theoretical Chemistry), Federal University of Ceara, Brazil (Physics), The University of Iowa (Chemistry), and The Air Force Institute of Technology, Sao Paulo, Brazil (Physics). Orville played an integral role in the original development of the Infrasonic device and heads up the Medical and Scientific Advisory Board for CVR Global.
Dr. Truong is a Professor at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in the Department of Biostatistics. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California-Berkeley, Department of Statistics. He has published works in over fifty publications and written books documenting statistical analysis. Young sits on CVR Global’s Medical and Scientific Advisory Board and is assisting Dr. Day in finalizing the programming of the CVR Global device.
Dr. Bendick received his BS and MS from MIT and his PhD from Stanford University. As an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at Purdue University from 1973 to 1975 he helped establish the Medical Ultrasound Research Laboratory and worked on the development of random signal processing techniques for blood flow detection and measurement, precursors to today’s coded excitation and B‐flow techniques. Dr. Bendick became involved with the clinical application of ultrasound with his move in 1976 to the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, where he established the noninvasive Vascular Laboratories for the University Hospital, Wishard Memorial Hospital (county hospital) and the VA Hospital. In 1986 he moved to William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan as both Director of Peripheral Vascular Diagnostic Center and Director of Surgical Research, all while established the Vascular Laboratory there, which performs over 25,000 non‐invasive vascular studies per year.
Mr. Kline received his B.S. in Industrial Design from The Ohio State University and is currently the owner of ID Solutions, a product development firm. Throughout his 30 career, he received numerous design and engineering patents in the medical, handheld industrial LED lighting, consumer electronics, and appliance fields. Having worked at several leading technical centers, Mr. Kline is well versed in developing unique products utilizing plastic injection molding, insert molding, composites, stamping, extrusion, membrane control panels, and all forms of aluminum decoration. He specializes in working with startups creating new product categories from concept development, CAD solid modeling, prototyping, and into high volume production.
Mr. Castle is a veteran of both software design and development. During his tenure at organizations such as Dow and Relevance he participated in a broad spectrum of areas including project management, technical operations, and engineering. Mr. Muness holds both a BS and MS in Computer Science from Frankling University.
Mr. Finlayson is an accomplished engineer with nearly 30 year of experience. He has held a variety of positions, from leading teams of engineers to the development of hardware and software. His experience includes the development of various laser systems, including laser based training systems for the military, wireless systems based on IEEE std. 802.15.4, instrumentation systems used in the aircraft and aerospace industry and as well as automatic test equipment.
Dr. Mark Clement received his PhD in Computer Science from Oregon State University as well as his BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University. For the past 18 years he has also held the position of Professor of Computer Science at this alma mater BYU. He has worked for organizations such as Digital Equipment Corporation and Intel as a software engineer in addition to being the founder of ICON, a startup which produces both disk servers and database machines. He is currently developing new methods for SNP identification and assembly in Next-generation sequence data.
Dr. Bean received his B.S. in Bioinformatics from Brigham Young University and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology at the University of California – San Diego. His thesis work focusses on improving high-throughput genetic screening techniques and analyses in microbial organisms.
Mr. Morse is a Professor of Computer Science at Brigham Young University, where he has served previously as Associate Chair. Dr. Morse holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has published more than 70 peer reviewed papers in various areas of computer graphics, computer vision, image and signal processing, and medical imaging, and he routinely serves as a reviewer for the major journals and conferences in these fields. He has been a visiting researcher at the National Institutes of Health, with whom he still maintains collaboration. He has twice chaired and now serves on the steering committee for the IEEE Workshop on Applications of Computer Vision. He currently serves as vice-chair of the IEEE Computer Society’s Technical Committee for Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence and on the Executive Committee for the Computer Society’s Technical and Conferences Activities Board.
